Every four years, UNITY: Journalists of Color holds a convention of its alliance members which are the AAJA, NAHJ, NAJA and the NLGJA.
Students will participate in week-long projects at the 2012 convention in Las Vegas, NV August 1-4 at The Mandalay Bay. Student journalists will work with professionals and mentors to produce journalism across media platforms in an integrated newsroom.
The application submission period will open in January 2012; selections will be made by each UNITY alliance member association for eligible student members.
